Another successful sale!

Kids Haven's 34th sale was another big success! We had 213 consignors bring in over 24,300 items and we successfully tracked over 99.6% of them. Despite running a two phased sale sale in significantly smaller spaces, we still sold over 66% of the consigned items and 76% of those sales were made at full price! The median consignor sale rate was 63% and 171 of our 213 consignors sold more than 50% of their items. Additionally, the generosity of our consignors allowed Kids Haven to donate over 3,800 items valued at almost $16,000 to deserving local families, agencies and organizations as well as many southern families who were severely impacted by the recent hurricanes. I thank everyone for a job well done!
It seems that everyone is looking for ways to stretch their budget dollars a bit further these days. I think that’s where Kids Haven excels! We help consignors make a little extra money by selling the items they no longer need. We help shoppers increase their purchasing power by offering the items they need at greatly reduced prices. And we help less fortunate local families by donating many unsold items to deserving local organizations and agencies. I am proud to participate in Kids Haven! I hope you are too!
