Letter of Appreciation
Kids Haven Consignments recently received a letter of appreciation from the Cedar Lee Middle School in Bealeton, VA for a large donation of books to their "Leap into Literacy" program. The books are scheduled to be distributed to various day-care centers throughout the area to enhance the literacy of our youngest citizens. The letter stated that the donation will go a long way to ensuring our young children develop a love of reading at an early age. Kids Haven thanks our consignors for their generosity in making the donation possible and shares the school's excitement in seeing the impact this will have on our local community!

For the last ten years Kids Haven has hosted semi-annual consignment sales in Warrenton, VA to help parents sell the clothing, toys and equipment their children have outgrown and replace them with new or nearly new items at unbelievable savings! These seasonal sales have become so popular in Warrenton that Kids Haven is now considering franchising additional sales. Today, Kids Haven took the first step toward that goal by launching a new web site that will be able to accommodate new Kids Haven franchises in other locations.

Kids Haven Consignment Store is the “economic elastic that allows them to stretch their money to get what their kids need,” said business owner and event organizer Angela Sain. Sain launched Kids Haven in 2001 when her oldest child was a toddler. “I realized how expensive it was to clothe my daughter and buy everything that she needed — and then she'd outgrow it in six months,” Sain said. “I thought, this is crazy.
